I got the first two on your list, had a wrong idea for the third, and my bones told me that fourth one was there somewhere, so now I have three.

I feel like I should know the brown building, and the pink and orange signs.

The greengrocer is tricky, but I’d read that book for a class a year ago. Hint: there’s only one fruit in the window.

Any thoughts on an additional hint for that one?

      I’m stumped.

That emoji was the only thing that helped with that one. :joy:

          So I now have 4.

I got up to 6 but I’m stuck. Might have to just keep staring at it over the weekend.

I’m 12/20 and totally stuck on the rest. The window silloette, the girls on the swings, the milkman, and the kid with the kite are all pretty vague and non-linguistic clues, which slows me down. Al’s Pharmacy and Angel’s Butcher are too common of names for me to run searches, and while I now know a ton about Lindley Hall the place, I can’t find it as a book reference. Also, what’s up with the “Daisy Coco” smoke clue?

I’m normally better at this kind of thing!

    1. I’m pretty sure this all has to do with the fact that my reading list is almost entirely fantasy/speculative fiction – clearly I don’t branch out nearly enough.

A clue riddle from the creators to help solve the Warning triangle for a Bee.

Want inspiration? You could do much worse –

    When it comes to bestsellers, this Lady’s is First;

Loved by her nation, admired overseas

(This memoir has nothing to do with bees).

Full facepalm for the terrible pun that led to that clue.

Yay, thanks to that I now have 6!

And yes, one of the best visual dad jokes. :simon:

I got the riddle via email encouraging me to go back and guess more.

I’m up to 17 now, mostly because my friend has just whizzed through and got 18 in <10min.

Some additional clues/hints from me/her, I’ve not had any more riddles by email.

Al’s Pharmacy Al – another word for pharmacist

Lindley Farm Think a more generic geographical location for the farm

Milkman Literal, as simple as it looks!

Judiths Cafe The ‘guy’ is drinking tea

Butchers What is the meat? on?

      District of Columbia … D.C …

Nells Nell has a statue in Clark Park, Philadelphia

      Agnes Agnes Nutter

      Still very stuck on

      Daisy Coco Smoke.

      Blue Wedding Car.

Blue car… what sort of car is that? As in where was it made. Now add what it’s decorated for.
