IMPORTANT: Notifications/Location/Refreshing The App

As you now know, the AGP app is a key element in uncovering the mysteries of the Secret Society.
To be able to locate clues hidden around the world you’ll need to do a couple things…
- Allow the app to know your location while you’re using it.
- Allow the app to send you notifications.
- And it’s also a good idea to force quit the app and restart it before hunting for clues, to be sure you have the latest updates… (You never know when something might change.)

Ye I had to uninstall and reinstall the app, also make sure your location is on!

The login button doesn’t work but you can log into the forum through the app

Oh I thought the accounts would connect if I tried to login

having problems logging in
it says my e-mail doesn’t exist and when I tried to Register nothing happens
EDIT: Nevermind, I got it to work with a FB login!

Location tracking

Okay here is a trouble shooting guild for Android users however this may differ slightly from system to system and will probably be very different for IOS
Okay first go to Settings, which is the little cog symbol either in your apps list or the top right of the drop down menu, and scroll down till you find Apps
Click on the apps section and look for Ackerly Green, it should be near the top of the list
Click on the app and it’ll take you to the app info, scroll down till you find the permissions section
Make sure these two settings are turned on
Now you should be all good to go!

Hey @CJB just to let you know that the notification icon isn’t showing up properly (Top left corner)

I got a new phone (LG) and downloaded the app and cannot login. When I attempt the password recovery route, I never receive any reset email. Reinstalling the app and trying it out with domifferent wifi didn’t change my attempts. Any help?
(Also when I initially load the app nothing appears it’s just the background color and the menu bottom in the corner.)

Are you tryign to log into the app itslef, or the forum via the app? If it’s the app, then I believe we still can’t log in yet. At least, I don’t remember being told we could.

We could make logins, just couldn’t link them to our forum accounts.

Anyone else having the problem Helios is having where only the background is showing on the app?

Once in a while; normally restarting the app fixes it.

Huzzah, the app is working for me now! ( I dont know what changed it)

So I tried to unistall and re download and this happened.
My tablet is old and probably not compatible with the app so I think im going to need to be excluded from location-based clues until I get something newer.r

I know I’m kinda behind but I can’t login. It says invalid login.

You don’t have to login on the app for the app to find members of The Secret Society.
Logging in is a built-in app feature that we don’t really use right now.

@CJB I’ve tried turning off and on location, logging out and back in and uninstalling and reinstalling but I didn’t get a pop up at the museum. So is this the right location?
EDIT: It’s started raining hard so I’ve had to abandon the search
