These pins are amazing well made! A rubber stud is used instead of a traditional metal stud which makes it much more comfortable to wear. The pins don’t scratch easily and are surprisingly tough. Also the chronocompass you get with it is NOT a bookmark but actually a sticker!!

This was the first piece of AGP merchandise I ever purchased, and I’m really excited I bought it! The pin is great quality, so it won’t fall apart two weeks after you get it, and it looks just as nice, if not better, in person compared to the preview on here. The pin is secured with a black rubber pin back, and you can probably put it on a backpack or jacket without worrying if it will fall off!
Apart from the technical details, there’s also the sentimental and keepsake value of it. Of the items in the AGP store, I think this is the one that has the potential to last the longest. Shirts fade and tear, mugs break, and books and posters can get damaged in so many ways. This pin, though, seems pretty hardy, and though it might be hard to find some times (it’s a bit wider and longer than a US quarter), it will probably be the piece of merchandise from this store that lasts the longest.

Absolutely loved this pin. Bought it the day it came out. It survived a 14 mile backpacking trip, two cross-country trains, and a move to the Pacific Northwest. However, it did melt after I left my backpack in the hot car too long. It still sort of stayed on my backpack, but after a little jostling in the big city, it was gone. Oh well, guess I’ll have to get another one.
